About the Journal

Sport Economics Research (SER) is an international peer-reviewed journal that fosters academic work in the fields of sport and economics. Our journal publishes foundational theories and applied research in areas such as sport economics, sport management, the management of sports clubs and organizations, sport marketing, and sponsorship.

Sport Economics Research (SER) has been published since 2024, with two issues released annually in July and December. The first issue will be published in December 2024.The articles published in our journal include original research articles, case studies, reviews, and letters to the editor, all of which are of the highest scientific value across all fields related to sport economics and management. Sport Economics Research (SER) is committed to contributing to the body of knowledge in sport and economics, guiding academics, researchers, and practitioners by upholding high academic standards and ethical guidelines. All submitted articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, where they are meticulously evaluated for originality, accuracy, and contribution. We adhere to principles of transparency and impartiality throughout our publication process. The journal publishes articles in English.
